Here are the badges I have earned for completing EDBE 8Y08:
The Cup of Wisdom Badge: This was an important badge to earn! It was awarded to students in EDBE 8Y08 who completed weekly online modules that facilitate the learning of Technology, Pedagogical and Content knowledge (also known as TPACK).
Gamification Badge: By earning this badge, I developed an understanding of game mechanics that can be used to facilitate learning in education contexts.
Digital ID Badge: This was the second badge I earned in EDBE 8Y08, by learning about my digital footprint and exploring strategies for establishing a positive and professional digital footprint.
Digital Teacher Badge: To earn this badge, I demonstrated an understanding of the knowledge required to plan and implement online and blended lessons for flipped and distance teaching.
Digizen Badge: My Digizen Badge was earned when I was able to demonstrate and understand the rights and responsibilities for learning and working in today's digital society.
Problem-Based Learning Badge: The PBL badge was for demonstrating an understanding of the structure of a Problem-Based Lesson and how to implement that lesson using tech-enhanced activities.
Project Based Learning Badge: Not to be confused with the PBL Badge, the PJBL badge deals directly with achieving an understanding of the structure of Project Based Learning and how to implement that learning into lessons that use tech-enhanced activities.
Mobile Learning Badge: I was rewarded this badge for exploring the world of mobile learning and discovering how mobile learning is changing the how, when, where, and why of what we learn.
